Bored Panda once again proved that selecting the right content and a strong community can produce great results even if you publish 3 articles on average daily. They are once again a clear winner.
Bored Panda produced 25.418 social signals (Facebook, Twitter & Google+) on average for every story published (Stories published in March = 159). That means it’s almost 10.000 interactions better than The Pioneer Woman on the second place in our chart having 16.476 interactions per article (Stories published in March = 11). They are followed by the legendary The Oatmeal coming into the third place by a margin with 16.366 interactions per published news story on average but amazingly only 3 stories produced in the March 2015. YouTube’s featured* daily content comes into the fourth place, followed by another legendary website – IFL Science.
While most socially engaged chart shows a picture of media which has most success on average per single post. The most viral media overall Buzzfeed comes according to the “Most socially engaged chart” only in 43 position with 4.338 social signals per single article. Nothing special compared to Bored Panda’s 25.418 social signals per article. And even if compared to CNN with 2.628 interactions. It seems Buzzfeed is somehow losing it’s cool.
Mainstream media news media shows that most engaged is CNN with 2.628 interactions per article is in position 76, still a great result for a serious mainstream news portal.
